If you're like the rest of us, when you're surfing a porn site and you come across a pic or movie you really like, what do you do? You save it, of course. Pretty soon, you have a big ol' collection of porn, sitting on your hard drive. Just the sort of thing you don't want the wife and kids to find, right?

Here are some ways to hide your porn stash, so you don't get busted!

Bury The Folder

Here's what you want to do. Find a folder on your hard drive that has a bunch of folders inside it. Best is if it has subfolders that have more folders inside them. Go as deep into the "tree" of folders as you can, and put a new folder in there. That's where you'll save your stuff. It'll be hard for the casual browser to find, since they'd have to go into the right top folder, then the right combination of internal folders in order to get down to the good stuff.

The only downside to this is it's a bit of a pain in the ass for YOU to get to the folder, both for saving stuff and then looking at what you saved. Depending on your system, you may have to go through the whole folder tree every single time you save something, which can be a real bitch if you're saving a whole series of photos.

Use A "Camouflaged" Folder Name

What this means is, don't call your folder "My Dirty Porn Stash." It's just common sense. Call it "Financial Records" or "Settings" or "Config," something that someone wouldn't think twice about. Sort of like hiding it in plain sight.

Just be careful that you don't name it something that others might actually WANT to look at. Like the previous example, "Financial Records." Someone might actually want to check out your financial records, to see if you're stashing some cash away or something. When they do, they're going to get an even BETTER surprise, eh? So be careful and use your head.

Use Absolute Invisibility Software

If you really are serious about keeping your porn stash from being discovered, you should check out this program I found, called Absolute Invisibility. It lets you hide any folders on your hard drive like they aren't even there. Only the person with the password can make them visible again. You can also hide Internet Explorer favorites and desktop icons, plus you can store your website usernames and passwords with it too. I've been using this and it kicks ass!
